You can only pour from a full glass. To ensure you are fully equipped to win in 2023, you must take a holistic approach to self-improvement. Cash flowing into your bank account won’t make you successful if you are emotionally drained or stress. A great fitness state won’t help you achieve a winning mindset if you forget to have fun on the way.
Keep things simple and start today, this is your winning formula:
Health
With the holiday season around the corner, starting a diet might sound unrealistic. But let’s take a step back and demystify the concept of diet. In many cases, we say we are on a diet when we are simply eating healthy. Diets are for higher goals like loosing or gaining a significant amount of weight, eliminating certain foods temporarily, or addressing a serious health condition.
Let’s keep it simple and work towards achieving a healthy lifestyle before this year ends. Your winning formula: clean eating + exercise 2-3 times a week.
When committing to clean eating, you are automatically eliminating all excess of alcohol and sugary foods, gaining better sleep, healthier skin, and increasing energy. Don’t stop yourself from having a glass of good wine or your favourite dessert occasionally. Remember, you are not in a diet.
When it comes to exercising, just pick your favourite activity. If this time of the year feels stressful or sad to you for any reason, be gentle on yourself. Outdoor walks or yoga are a great way to stay connected and release stress. Salsa lessons or pole dancing are really fun activities to add to these dark months of the year; and boxing or spinning are great high intensity training to gain stamina and strength.
Wealth
Regarding money, focus on one thing: knowing where you’re at right now. Don’t assume you don’t have any money, there are hidden assets like rent deposit. And don’t assume you have enough money, would you be able to maintain your lifestyle if you quit a toxic job or relationship?
